Great review of 8tracks on Razorfish blog →

Late Friday, we pushed 3 big improvements to the website:
1. New player
We’ve debated how best to enable playback on the site, and we’ve concluded that putting a big, clean player on the mixpage itself (rather than in the header) is both less prone to issues and clearer to listeners; you basically “play the page”. Check it out on any mixpage.

Fred Wilson gives us props on the Uploader today:
Andrew and I met with David Porter, founder of 8tracks, the “legal muxtape”, yesterday. David offered to let me try their new uploader (not yet available) that lets you drag and drop iTunes playlists into 8tracks. It’s killer.
