Cool Musebin integration
We integrated with fellow NYC-based music startup Musebin a couple of weeks ago.  Musebin allows people write short album reviews (140 characters or less, of course : ) ) that can be posted to one’s followers on Twitter. Our next big project at 8tracks is “tags” — a word or 2 (or 3) that someone would use to describe and classify a mix. We pushed several changes to the website last night (thanks guys!) Definition (from Urban Dictionary)
An obsolete form of media, primarily used in the 70s. 8-tracks were the 80s equivalent of the cassette tape or the 90s version of the CD, except that you could not rewind or fast forward, but you were able to skip into another sector of the 8 track (aka the ‘track’).
